James Bond 007: NightFire (2002) 007: Nightfire
007: Nightfire is a first-person shooter video game that is based on Ian Fleming's British secret agent James Bond, of the secret British intelligence agency, MI6. This marked Pierce Brosnan's fourth appearance as James Bond before the release of his fourth and final Bond film Die Another Day, however, in the video game, his likeness was featured, but not his voice, which was provided by Maxwell Caulfield. 007: Nightfire was developed by Eurocom for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and Xbox video game consoles. Gearbox Software developed the game for Windows, which Aspyr later ported to the Mac. The computer versions are substantially different from the console versions, featuring different missions and a modified story line. It was published by Electronic Arts in 2002. In 2003 EA released Nightfire for the Game Boy Advance this time developed by JV Games. In 007: Nightfire, James Bond is pitted against megalomaniac Raphael Drake, the world's largest green-industrialist and the president of Phoenix International. The goal of Phoenix International is to rid the world of unnecessary nuclear weapons and power plants to cleanse the environment. However, Phoenix International is soon suspected to be connected to the theft of a ballistic weapons guidance microchip that was meant to be part of the United States Space Weapon Platform. When Bond starts to investigate the Japanese branch of Phoenix International, he learns of the true purpose of the international corporation: to carry out a decades-long, secret operation codenamed "Nightfire" that when completed will drastically redraw the lines that separate the countries of the world along with their governments, and plans to take over the world by taking control of all global corporations. |

Everything or Nothing is the second Bond game played
in the third-person and is the first Bond game to feature a two-player
cooperative mode. However, unlike its modern predecessors, Everything
or Nothing lacks a true deathmatch multiplayer mode, a popular staple
in Bond games since 1997's GoldenEye
007.
For the first time in any James Bond game, Electronic Arts hired many actors to model the characters after as well as for their voice talents. In addition to Pierce Brosnan, this includes Judi Dench and John Cleese from previous Bond films and adds well-known actors Willem Dafoe, Shannon Elizabeth, and Heidi Klum, including classical 007 actor Richard Kiel who played Jaws in the classical 007 films returns to reprise his role as Jaws. Everything or Nothing is also the second James Bond game to have its own original theme song but the first to be sung by a well-known singer: R&B artist Mya, who also has a part as a Bond girl in the game. The soundtrack was composed by Sean Callery, best known for television's 24 and Nikita. The soundtrack features a new rendition of the famed James Bond music by Callery. The game was written by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein, who also wrote the Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies and co-scripted the Bond films GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough. Everything or Nothing includes 29 missions as well as 4 unlockable bonus missions, numerous gadgets supplied by Q and the return of the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish from the 2002 film Die Another Day.

The World Is Not Enough is a first-person shooter video game based on the James Bond film of the same name. The game was published by Electronic Arts and released for the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation console systems in 2000. The Nintendo 64 version was developed by Eurocom and the PlayStation version was developed by Black Ops. Black Ops had previously developed the James Bond game Tomorrow Never Dies. Eurocom would later go on in 2002 to develop the Bond game Nightfire. Versions of The World Is Not Enough for the PC and the PlayStation 2 were planned for release in 2000, but cancelled. This game marks the fifth appearance of Pierce Brosnan's James Bond, the game included his likeness but not his voice. Coming off the failure of the previous Bond game, Tomorrow Never Dies, it was decided that The World Is Not Enough would go back to its roots as a first-person shooter, popularized by the success of the Bond game GoldenEye 007. In the Nintendo 64 version, it would also see the reintroduction of the multiplayer portion of the game that gave GoldenEye 007 such a lasting appeal. |
As with GoldenEye 007, the in-game weapons are based on actual weapons, but with the names changed. For example, Bond's sidearm, called "Wolfram P2K" in-game, is based on the Walther P99. This was the first 1st-person James Bond game wherein the player could switch the 'mode' in which a weapon operated, such as mounting or removing a silencer or switching from single-shot to full auto |
GoldenEye 007 is a 1997 first-person shooter video game developed by Rare for the Nintendo 64 video game console, and based on the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye. The game has received very positive reviews[1] and sold over eight million copies.[2] It is considered an important title in the development of first person shooters, and has become particularly well-known for the quality of its multiplayer deathmatch mode, as well as its incorporation of stealth and varied objectives into its single player missions. GoldenEye 007 was followed by a spiritual successor, Perfect Dark, also developed by Rare. |

Tomorrow Never Dies (also known as 007: Tomorrow Never Dies) is a third-person shooter based on the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. Developed by Black Ops and published by Electronic Arts, it was released on November 16, 1999 exclusively for the Sony PlayStation . It is the first 007 game of many that was published by Electronic Arts since acquiring the James Bond licence. This game marks the fouth appearance of Pierce Brosnan's James Bond, although the voice of Bond is provided by actor Adam Blackwood in the game. Tomorrow Never Dies came on the heels of 1997's hit Bond game, GoldenEye 007 for the Nintendo 64 console system. Arguably one of the best first-person shooters for a console, GoldenEye was critically acclaimed for redefining the first-person shooter genre and popularising multiplayer gaming on a console. After the success of GoldenEye 007, the James Bond licence was picked up by Electronic Arts. Tomorrow Never Dies broke away from the gameplay that made GoldenEye 007 a success by choosing to make a third-person shooter and by leaving out a multiplayer portion of the game. The game was met with only average reviews and currently sits on GameStats with a 5.9 rating. After this title, a third-person shooter based on the James Bond franchise wouldn't be attempted again until 2004 with Everything or Nothing. |

007 Racing is a racing game based on the James Bond licence. It was developed by Eutechnyx, published by Electronic Arts, and released on November 21, 2000 exclusively for the PlayStation console system. This game marks the seventh appearance of Pierce Brosnan's James Bond; the game included his likeness but not his voice. In 007 Racing the player takes on the role of British secret agent Commander James Bond behind the wheel of some of his most famous vehicles from the then-current 19 official films. Cars include the Aston Martin DB5 made famous in its initial appearance in Goldfinger, the Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only, and the BMW Z3 that briefly appeared in GoldenEye as well as 7 other automobiles. Each car is equipped with all the usual gadgetry and weapons issued by Q, the Quartermaster of a special branch of MI6 referred to as Q-Branch. 007 Racing is often compared to the 1983 video game Spy Hunter because of the weapons, gadgets, and the goal of destroying your enemies on the road |
Most of the gadgets and weapons in 007 Racing are inspired by the James Bond films, specifically Goldfinger, The Spy Who Loved Me, and The Living Daylights |
